COMBAT HELMETS OF THE THIRD REICH A STUDY IN PHOTOGRAPHS
Book Type: S By Thomas Kibler. This is an excellent reference book that is in full color. It isn't all encompassing, but for the helmets it presents it shows extraordinary detail. Photos show the helmet from the side and interior as well as extreme close-ups of liner rivets, all markings included those on the helmet, chinstrap, and liner band. There are detailed chapters on the decals, chinstraps and buckles, liners, rivets, and oddball types. There is a representation from most types, including Polizei, SS, Afrikakorps, Lutwaffe, Fallschirmjager, Kriegsmarine and more. The type of close-up detail presented in this book I haven't seen elsewhere. 100 pp.
