By Ray Cowdery This book brings a great deal of new and hard to obtain information to the study of Hitler. 15 pages of the book are reproductions of a heavily illustrated German booklet published in Linz, Germany in April 1938 to celebrate the political union of Austria with Nazi Germany. That booklet focuses in substantial detail on the buildings, towns, people and places connected with the birth and childhood of Hitler, and is accurately translated into English. Cowdery has also in over 16 years of travel to the area, sought out and photographed many of the buildings and significant sites that were central to Hitler's childhood so that readers can see what they look like today. The photos are augmented with rare period maps of Oberosterreich, special related graphics and several maps drawn specifically for this book, 145 photos.  96 pp.
