The information contained herein is exclusively translated primary reports. The goal of this series is to give the reader access to English translations of the German reports during the time of the German counteroffensive to reduce the large bulge in the German lines near the Wolchow river. Volume I and II were previously published and contain 100’s of translated reports on the battle. This volume continues where Volume II left off. Volume III encompasses the following sections: Section 9: XXXVIII Korps Ic Reports Section 10: XXXVIII Miscellaneous Ic Reports Section 11: Report by the Spanish Volunteer Division on the effect of the Periods of Rain, Frost and Thaw during their time in Russia (1941/1942) Section 12: Winter War Experiences: Reports Prepared for the XXXVIII. A.K. The book also includes an extensive German/English glossary and appendixes. This is the third volume of a multi volume work that aims to translate (from German to English) all of the type written reports on this battle.
